What do you think of this flashback art style? I’m really enjoying it, myself.
My youngest turned two this week, so we’re celebrating on The Adventurers. Go check it out!

I’ve launched a Kickstarter for my second webcomic! Please support the book if you can, and share it if you like. Thanks so much!
I’ll be a guest of the East Coast Comic Expo in Moncton, New Brunswick this weekend. Come see me if you’re in town!
That story’s been a long time coming. The Governor is one of my favorite characters; he’s got a lot of depth to him that has only been scratched a little bit.
A little shout-out to Stan Sakai with the original governor’s death gasp there.
And we’re back!
But what have we been up to since the last update weeks and weeks ago?
Well, Kelly launched the Kickstarter for The Adventurers, Volume 1: Love You Very So Much, the collection of his diary strips available at The Adventurers website. There’s that, and there were the three comic shows (Emerald City in Seattle, Calgary Expo in Calgary, and East Coast Comic Expo in Moncton, all of whom were amazing and super fun) and my work on Johnny Vegas (which wraps up pretty soon). Very very busy right now.
Please support The Adventurers on Kickstarter… The book is a labour of love for me, and if it weren’t for its therapeutic effects I might have quit comics years ago. I only need to sell forty more books to close off the campaign… let’s get it done!
I was on the Northern Nerd Network to talk about The Adventurers: you can listen here. I was also on What’s the Finish? last week, too: check that out here!
I love The Governor. He’s probably my favorite supporting character to write… a goofball at heart who loves the world but fears the darkness in his own heart. I can relate, man.
Do you think this has anything to do with the mysterious ship-like rock out in the bay?
I’m doing Inktober again this year… You can buy my drawings from my online shop and check them out on my Tumblr.
The fifth of the seven Pirate Masters arrives! Behold the terrifying Captain Saturday! But why has he come for Strangebeard’s mother, and not Jenny herself?
I really do feel like this is one of my best pages yet. Poor Carl.
Ah, the Cabin Boys. Been a long time with these weird little jerks in the wings. I’ll be putting up some sketchbook pages with them on my Patreon.
I’m doing Twelve Days of Drawings again this year; $20 drawings of Christmas characters from t.v. and movies. You can follow along on my Tumblr account.
My book The Adventurers: Love You Very So Much is up for a CanComicsWiki Award! Please vote here and click “The Adventurers” on page 2 and write in “Kelly Tindall” on the third page. I’d really appreciate it!
